Company Background

Started in 2002 Maximum Security was founded to fill a perceived void in the security industry. Co-founders Michael Mancusi, Jason Paglino, and Charles Tramontana believed that by utilizing their many years of law enforcement experience they could re-invent the way security services were provided to gated communities, local businesses, and other local establishments. Former Nassau County Detective Peter McGinn joined the management team in 2015, further adding to Maximum Security’s security expertise.

Growth Through Referrals, Not Advertising

Due to this unique relationship with customers, Maximum Security has been able to achieve steady growth since its inception solely through clients’ word-of-mouth recommendations. Within the last 5 years the company has more than doubled in size; we are presently staffed by over 330 employees. However, the company owners were deliberate in controlling expansion in a carefully crafted manner so as not to grow too rapidly and lose sight of our ability to be directly engaged with our clients.

Aided by their working knowledge of the local criminal activity, and their recruitment of dedicated professionals, Maximum Security is able to provide high-level security service, showing the client that they are dealing with individuals who are truly concerned with their safety and well-being. The Co-founders’ experience and training with the COPE (Community Oriented Policing & Enforcement) Division of the Suffolk County Police Department give them a unique advantage over other security firms to proactively address client needs.
